Your Opinion, S'il Vous Plait
Once upon a time, not too long ago, I posted on craigslist in search of couples who would work for me. Alas, I received one response, who then never returned my follow-up emails. So here's the question: should I post an ad in the "erotic" section, the section where people post ads looking for people to get freaky with? My ad clearly states several times that there will be no sexual contact between myself and the models, so I feel a little badly about posting an ad that promises no sex, but I think I'll have better luck finding couples in the "erotic" section than the "artists" section. Thoughts?

I hope you didn't consider us to be the one couple who didn't respond. . .we responded, but then pulled out before the shoot. Regardless, I think you should consider posting in the erotic section. In the Bay Area now they have an "Adult Gigs" section which seems more what you're looking for. Best of luck

oh no no no.....you guys were a while ago. this was more recent. besides, i didn't mean anything bad by it. the thought of a shoot like this is very daunting--i don't blame anyone if they feel intimidated or freaked out, or too vulnerable or freaked out to email me back. really. if someone doesn't want to do this, i really am ok with it. i'm very sensitive....i just get a little frustrated when i can't find people. but a few hours ago i posted in the WDC adult gig section, and i have my fingers crossed.
but yeah, no worries. i'm not secretly hating you or anything.

I've been performing at two downtown open mikes here in NYC since 2001. Faceboy's is on Sundays, Rev Jen's is on Wednesdays. I want to say that if you came onstage at either one & made your pitch, you could have your couple in approximately 10 minutes. That's a slight exaggeration. But there have been couples whose "performance" consisted of having sex onstage, we are all pretty much crazy and/or alcoholic, I have this girl chasing me right now to shoot a Naked Art Stars For The Troops Calendar. I've never been to an orgy, but some of my friends have. Some of us are strippers or work as dominatrices. I couldn't guarantee anything if you did visit here, obviously, I guess all I'm saying is finding a couple shouldn't be too hard in downtown New York. I think word-of-mouth is a more efficient approach than Craig's List, however.
