Why?!
Why oh why did "Civ 4" have to come out for Macs? Now I have to go buy it, love it, and not get anything done ever again.
Also, my nerve.com didn't come out today, so possibly next week. Feel free to exhale.

what is the The Studenizer anyway?
4th grade science project. it was a magnetic board that was half covered with velcro that could be attached to the inside of a three-ring notebook, then taken out and attached to the side of a desk (back then, our desks were metal boxes, essentially). you could put magnetic tape or velcro tape on all your stuff, and it didnt create any bulk. plus, the velcro was so loud, you could tell if someone was swiping your stuff, which was always a problem for me. but basically, i was trying to solve the problem of always cutting my fingers on those really stinky plastic school supply holders that go in notebooks (we didn't have those fancy-schmancy zippered nylon bags back then, either). there was no way it could be marketed, but it wasn't like anything else out there, hence the patent. i think the submission went in during the spring, we got the patent acceptance in august right before my birthday. i was 9. if you go to the us patent office's website, they have an archive. you can look me up.
A female nude-photographer who loves Civilization and reads Nerve! Marry me :-)
flattering, but i suspect my boyfriend might have something to say about that...
