Why am I saying this?
Seems someone on Flickr has stolen a good number of my photos without tagging or reference to me. Yahoo has been emailed, as has my cousin, the copyright lawyer in NYC.

As you may be aware, the Flickr community does a good job about policing their own too.. who is this person???? Sic some of us on him!

Aries1952. Yahoo has been alerted, but hasn't gotten back to me. I'm not part of the Flickr community (at this point, I don't really want to be), so if anyone has access to this guy, I would greatly appreciate someone saying something to him, or letting people know those pictures are mine. i'd be happy to provide the corresponding urls to the same images on my website.

they seem to be "private" photos, and someone has graciously already offered to help me. but i'll take all the help i can get--this kind of thing drives me nuts!

This is such a tough realm, the Internet. You do know you can put photos online that NOBODY can download, don't you?
You should look into it...many successful photogs with their own sites do this. check with some computer nerd in the city - after all, there are so many tech geeks in sf, it's not even funny.
look for someone specializing in online encryption of images.
you can block any download or copying of your images.
hope this helps....BTW, i am the dude who was thinking of the beautiful agony shoot but chickened out. ;-0
