New Photos: Portraits
My friend Megan ("Cattus Interruptus" and book cover chick) asked me to take her picture. I complied. I ended up with a ton of photos, but these are my favorites.

Good lord, silly girl indeed. The first one is absolutely gorgeous, and the second and third from last are both fabulous as well. All fantastic shots, really, but those jumped out.
Hello - that's the first time I comment here, though I read your blog for a while.
I really do like the second one - strong face, where a lot can be read. The contrast & her hand adds a lot of tension/mystery I think. The last one is also strong, though more classical in its composition. The others are good, but "talk" to me less (maybe because of this absent look).
It just makes me even more curious to see more portraits you made, as you mentionned in the previous post.

i know, she's gorgeous! i think she was joking when she said it, i'm sure she thinks she's not ugly-ugly, but i think she was a little thrown off by the fact that i had to use "special lighting techniques." i was in my basement with one good window--of COURSE i had to use "special lighting techniques." even kate moss would look like poo in that lighting.
