You and the proximity of your liberating art will be greatly missed in the metro D.C. area. With your departure I can already feel the conservative cultural and aesthetic vice-grips tightening its unrelenting hold on the nation’s capital.
Prophets are seldom honored in their own countries. No doubt when you next return to D.C., the photographic vacuum you will have left here by leaving us will be filled with federal legislation that effectively bans not only the display, but also the very viewing, of the type of passionate, sensuous and erotically charged photographs within the District of Columbia that we have been blessed to have seen that were created by your beautiful open mind, discerning eyes and talented hands.
I truly wish you all the best with your new life on the West Coast, as well as with all your future photographic endeavors.
