Oy. Ok, here's what's been up:

1. Just got back from SF for apartment hunting. VERY unsuccessful. Although we did find an apartment I really, really liked (I'm the picky one), but we have no idea if we'll get it or not.

2. Job interview went well. Job itself, not so much. The scheduling with my move doesn't entirely work with their schedule, so if I don't get it, I'm pretty sure it'll be because of that. I won't be bothered. I'm applying to two more things today.

3. "Cattus Interruptus" and "Untitled (Shower Shot #4)" both got into Dirty Detroit 7.5. You can see what they look like here:

Untitled (Shower Shot #4):

You can also check out Dirty Detroit at

4. R.I.P. Kalman Burnim. Very, very cool guy.

Why oh why did "Civ 4" have to come out for Macs? Now I have to go buy it, love it, and not get anything done ever again.

Also, my didn't come out today, so possibly next week. Feel free to exhale.

Website Updated

Once upon a time, I mentioned that I (or rather, my awesome webmistress, Rachel) was updating my website. It's now done. These are the changes:

1. The "Plastic" category has been replaced by a "Motley" category, so I can post several projects without having to constantly change my website design. If you click on "Motley," the plastic series is still there, along with the new lingerie series that was on the blog.

2. Some photos have been taken off the site. Some I just didn't like anymore, some I wasn't allowed to use anymore, but whatever I've lost, I've replaced with about 18 pretty pictures of my skivvies.

3. My bio now has my birth year in it. Because people were constantly getting my age wrong ("I'm not old, I'm 37.")

4. My resume has been updated oh so slightly.

However, the resume/press pages are about to get updated again in the not too distant future because I will soon have another gallery up on, possibly two. It/they might be posted this Friday, but I'll post more info as soon as I get it. I've been emailing back and forth with their new photo chick, Danniel, who is also a DC-area native and muy awesome. I also have an interview with a semi-famous museum in San Fran for a week from Friday, so we'll see how that goes.

Great idea!

I think this is a great way for me to get rid of all those slides I have lying around. My own personal kinky porn lamp.

A few things

1. I sold all the film I mentioned in the earlier post, but thanks to everyone who responded!
2. I have a shoot on the 22nd, so there should (hopefully) be some new pictures in the coming weeks
3. I'm (technically, my webmistress is) in the middle of some website edits. I'll be taking off pictures I either no longer like or can't use anymore, adding new photos, modifying the categories slightly, and just making some general resume updates.

Right now, I'm swimming in San Francisco stuff, but I still have a few things in the works. By Labor Day, things should be back to normal (whatever that means)

Anyone Want Some Film?

So, I did a TON of cleaning yesterday, and discovered I have lots and lots and lots of film that I'm probably not going to use anytime soon (I looooooove my digital camera). I have 13 rolls of TMAX 100 36-exposure black and white film, 11 rolls of TMAX 400 36-exposure black and white film, and a five-pack of TMAX-400 120 black and white film when I went through a brief Holga phase. I'd like to sell them for $3 a roll (I vaguely remember film being about $4 a roll), so if anyone's interested, email me at samantha at his dot com.

The Final Countdown (cue cheesy music)

Theoretically, I move in exactly one month, but it may actually be one month and two or three days. Either way, I get to escape DC.

I'll make one hell of an old lady....

I have a feeling I'm going to grow up to be like her. But you know, kinkier.
